Obedience

We have attended obedience since gaining Denali to our pack.  I needed that little bit more control with so many extra paws in the house.  At that time I never would of imagined I would have so many more after.

Denali attended Broughton, Nr. Brigg with trainer Marie gaining Puppy, Bronze and Silver KC obedience
Alpine also attended with him gaining Puppy and Bronze.  She would of been Gold by now if the club hadn't folded unfortunately. She then  10 years later did her Silver test at Louth dog club.

Luckily with the two pups Kebne and Glacier, I found a very accommodating club in Grimsby with trainer Gwen.  Glacier passed Puppy, Bronze, Silver training at 8 months and completes Gold at 11 Months.  Kebne has gained his Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold by 17 Months. These are our first Dog and Bitch both to Gold standard.  This was from Gwens great help.

2026 puppies Sleden and Super Duper are enrolled at Hessle dog training 'Just pet dogs' with our previous university tutor Marion on the APDT scheme, where they are currently working on Puppy with added durations on the waits and stays etc. so that we cover the criteria for Bronze good citizen.  We will work through both schemes at the same time and sit our exams at dog shows as and when.  It is always costly and hard work getting two pups trained up together.

We will also attend other clubs for training such at Retford dog club as they also have Monday evening testing of KC at all levels.  You do not have to regulary attend but it is always benefical to your dog to be familar for success.  Exams of Silver and Gold often have to be booked in advance.
