Bewe sled - The Ultra.

Bewe Mid-distance racing sled. Suitable for 2+ Malamutes                

Used for 3 seasons.  Has wear to 2 straps but fully usable.  Odd mould spot/mark/paint chips.  No damage that would affect use.

Air vent for holding dropped dogs inside.  Pole pockets inside.  Folds flat like a push chair.  With external bag for storage.  £1200.

HUGE internal area that can fit 4 days worth of supplies for yourself and 4 malamutes in the wild.

The bag/box on the rear is removable and was made by my fabrication company. The actual black bag will need replacing as I couldnt fix the fabric strong enough without a sewing machine (thick cordora) however it is included in the sale as it holds light items (Straw/duck down's) and will be a good template to use for something stronger if required.  To view in North Lincolnshire. The Ultra is BEWE's longdistance sled as such.

High demands are made to a long distance sled. The Ultra model fulfills them all. Grown over more than two decades, this sled has long since, with its characteristic blue stanchions and the typical BEWE brush-bow, proved itself around the globe.

Originating from the Alpi-2 concept, this sled has been consistently re-designed to meet all the needs concerning loading, flexibility and maneuverability, which a demanding long distance musher requires from his sled.

The newest Ultra has, in contrast to the models of past years, a slightly higher front and a new runner mounting system. The maneuverability has once again been improved and the sled has become more flexible and received a completely redesigned sled bag. In addition we were able to reduce its weight by nearly one kilo.

The Ultra is very easy to steer, has a large loading capacity and is extremely durable. It offers simple detail solutions such as the brake-matt suspension, the brake suspension and the welded frame brake or the basket front and the lashed center tube construction.

Currently £2300. 00 new in Norway.  Import tax and shipping not included but expected to be hundreds.  (01/25)

The box is not an option from the supplier - I had the frame specially made - normally an extra few hundred.

Certainly unique is the lateral basket mounting system of the Ultra and the possibility this offers to fold it for easy transportation.
