Raws Best - All our dogs are fed a raw diet from these incredible knowledge people. Highly recommended based in Grimsby.

Health Schemes and essential health information:


The Royal Kennel Club -to check documents relating to any KC Recognised dog. If you know the name of the dog you can look up the health certificates to check such as eyes and hips scores. Breed average hips is combined 13.  The lower the better.  Kenzie is 5, Alpine 7, Bisko 6.
British Veterinary Association information. You can book hips and eye testing of your malamute with the BVA approved scheme.

Breeder Imaging Services specialise in Hips and Elbow and submit the results to the kennel club or to the Australian scheme.

Laboklin - The gene lab for all the genetic conditions we test for which is recognised by the kennel club for results to be published.


* Alaskan Malamute Polyneuropathy - (AMPN) A nervous system disorder in Malamutes

* Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia - (PCD) It causes impaired movement of motile cilia—microscopic hair-like structures lining the respiratory tract and other organs. When these cilia fail to function properly, mucus clearance becomes ineffective, leading to chronic inflammation and infection, particularly in the respiratory system.

* Cone degeneration is a eye condition. This disease causes day blindness due to retinal cone degeneration. Cones in the retina are cells that respond mainly to bright daylight. Unlike PRA (progressive retinal atrophy), cone degeneration does not affect night vision.
